Materiality in the Maquette
Giles Miller crafted this framed work in etched stainless steel as a homage to one of the studio’s largest creations, Yah Jagah Hai, Mumbai.
This miniature piece encapsulates the same language of duality—opposing and transitioning reflective planes—seen in the original, yet offers a more intimate, scaled-down interpretation.
Rooted in the studio’s research into light, form, and material behaviour, the work interacts with its environment, creating dynamic reflections that shift with the viewer’s perspective.
