Our studio’s characteristic aesthetic comes from the fusion of technology with the handmade. The resulting complexity of meticulously arranged components creates richness, tactility, depth and allure.

We work with a talented pool of artists and specialist makers to create all of our bespoke pieces, and it takes many maker-hours to bring each one of our unique designs to a tangible reality.

The manipulation of light and materials to create subtle yet complex aesthetics is the foundation of the studio’s creative process.

Our control of texture using innovative design and fabrication techniques generates imagery, movement and character tailored to individual clients and contexts.

Based on the foundation of ten years of surface and sculptural experimentation, the studio is looking to question how spaces are defined. The result is a new type of architecture that changes the way people experience the spaces that surround them.

Giles Miller Studio creates sculptural, structural and conceptual works of art.

Collaborating with clients on special commissions enables the studio to marry a direct response to concepts, environments and characters with its ongoing experimentation into new systems and structures. This way of working generates a unique result for every client and some of the studio’s most ambitious and progressive work.
