Coram Campus, Hoxton Cladding

Brunswick Square, London

Giles Miller Studio are delighted to announce the first exterior surface project to be realised since the studio began it’s work in surface development four years ago.   The project marks a new area of investigation into external cladding, and will set the stage for innovative new surface solutions that can be applied to entire buildings.

Commissioned by Coram Campus in Brunswick Square to create some decorative but functional panelling, the studio took inspiration from one of its earliest surface products, Cemile, a design that incorporates small metal flaps protruding at different angles from a surface.   The panels are composed of thousands of tiny flaps bent out from the metal surface panel, anodized in a bronze finish.
